Euer Tim
Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa! Issue #2: BLACK contained a contribution called "Mitose: Spielregeln" (Mitosis: rules of play) and it's playing field. That it's not a multiplayer game might have been the first dissapointment. But some still tried to play "Mitose". And then there has been the second disappointment: I asked for feedback but unfortunately gave the wrong e-mail address. D'oh!
Anyway, some submissions found their way to us via the correct e-mail address. (see images above)
And this is, what the whole thing is based upon: In 2009 I created a project called "Geometrie | Biometrie" (Geometry | Biometry). Within this project I designed the series "Mitose" (Mitosis). With a printing plate, which has been treated further and further after predefined rules, I created six different states of the subject. It's reminiscent of cell growth.
Each print is limited to three pieces. (see images above)
